Plain-English summary: we store your email only if you subscribe, only to email you catalogue updates, and you can delete it any time.
What we collect
- Email address - only if you choose to subscribe to update notifications. Nothing else.
- We do not require accounts, and searching the catalogue collects no personal data - search runs in your browser.
Consent (double opt-in)
When you subscribe, we email you a confirmation link. Your address is added to our list only after you click it. Until then it sits in temporary storage and is automatically discarded after 24 hours.
Why we use it
Solely to send you an email when the Jan Aushadhi catalogue is updated. We never sell, rent, or share your email for marketing.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare - hosting, storage, and bot protection (Turnstile).
- Resend - delivers our emails.
These providers process data only to deliver the service.
Deletion & your rights
Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can also unsubscribe from any link we send. Unsubscribing is a hard delete - your address is permanently removed from our database, not just flagged. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may withdraw consent at any time; unsubscribing does exactly that.
